 The Executive Protection Merit Badge Program is a competency-based framework designed to recognize the real skills that define professional protection work.

In an industry filled with certificates, credentials, and course completions, it can be difficult to determine what those credentials actually represent. While training is essential, there is currently no shared standard that clearly communicates practical capability across the Executive Protection profession.

This program was created to shift that conversation.

Instead of recognizing individuals solely for attending training, the program focuses on demonstrated competencies — the skills that are actually required to plan, prevent, and respond in real-world environments.

It is not designed to replace training providers.

It is designed to support them — by introducing a clearer, more consistent way to define and communicate capability.

To strengthen professionalism, improve accountability, and create a shared language for competency within Executive Protection.
